The Connecticut Department of Transportation announced that there will be tree removal on Route 15 (Merritt Parkway) over the weekend in Greenwich, leading to temporary morning lane closures.
The scheduled lane closures are expected to last from 6 a.m. to noon Saturday, Feb. 16 and Sunday, Feb. 17 in both directions between exit 27 (Route 120A) and exit 28 (Round Hill Road).
A moveable sign will be utilized to help motorists navigate through the work zone, as crews cut dead trees, high limbs and clear signs.
"Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions," officials stated. "Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this vicinity."
